Описание: This book provides an in depth look at methods for implementing complex digital signal processing systems into programmable hardware using field programmable gate array (FPGA) technology. It begins with an introduction to silicon technologies, outlining the characteristics of DSP systems and implementation technologies. The following three chapters cover the necessary background for FPGA-based implementation, including a review of FPGAs, aspects of DSP computation and how this is mapped into FPGA hardware, and the development of intellectual property cores. The authors then go on to provide examples of the realization of complex DSP systems in FGPA implementation, mainly electronic support measures (ESM) receivers, adaptive beamformer and image processing systems.
