In Rex Brookes Toast, Henry, a slovenly, unambitious fellow, awakes to find that his roommate has been inadvertently transported into the body of a toaster. Its up to Henry to find a way to get him out, as long as he doesnt have to do too much work along the way.

Our following story takes you to an exotic world beyond the known universe. Interstellar beings Syzygy and Rinkus debate the nature of time, space and existence amidst the chaotic backdrop of nature in Joan Browns Jikan.

In our final story, Allison Middlebrooks The First of Many, four teenage friends are on a diving expedition to explore the local underwater caverns. When an accident causes fallen rubble to trap one of them, they must try to save him before they all run out of air, but soon realize that they may not alone in the waters.
