He transcended the pinnacle of art crime professionalism but remains aloof--afraid to trust. His youth vanished eighteen years ago when his brother drowned and he failed to save him. He bears the weight of two sons for his wealthy family and for their prestigious four-generation law firm.
Then he discovers a disturbing painting in the obscure Mus e de lErotisme in Montmartre. The presumably drowned model in the painting resembles Anne, a young American he met while attending an American university. The water scene plunges him back to Calvi Bay and his brothers death. Mysteriously, the painting disappears, propelling Andr into a search that leads to a catharsis for his long-grieving family.
Andr searches for the painting with its multi-layered mysteries, hoping to locate the woman he has not forgotten. When long concealed secrets threaten the integrity of the Gensonn family law firm, Andr must choose between protecting the family legacy, and justice.
