Nanostructured polymer composites are the combination of polymers and inorganic / organic fillers at the nanometer scale. This is the basis for enhanced mechanical properties of nanocomposite, compared to conventional microcomposites. The uses of these nanocomposites in biomedicine is the focus of this book.
