Es curioso, pero en Murcia exist an en 2001 solamente dos libros de bolsillos que tratan sobre los moriscos. Al parecer esta especie de vac o hist rico es el mejor testimonio del desinter s de los historiadores en cuanto no sean fuentes y puntos de vista oficiales. Y termino con las palabras del historiador de la Universidad de Harvard, Prof. Francisco M rquez Villanueva, que escribi el pr logo en este libro: "Govert Westerveld reempalma noblemente con su compatriota el arabista Reinhart P. Dozy para hacer justicia a realidades ocultas adrede, porque ""la historia de Espa a est falsamente escrita, echando culpas err neas a vencidos, calumni ndolos"".
