Описание: This is the Mentor's Guide for the third of a three-volume series called, Mentoring His Way - Disciple Twelve based on the "Twelve Characteristics of a Godly Life". In this second book, we learn about the four "Lifestyle Characteristics of a Godly Life." Having a Servants Heart - I serve others, I do not expect them to serve me. The first lifestyle characteristic of a Godly life is about having a servant's heart and meeting the needs of other people. We have been primarily concerned with how we can, through God's Word, and by adapting His Word to our lives, achieve spiritual and personal maturity, in the process of conforming to the image of Christ.Serving Christ in the Workplace - I serve Christ in the workplace. I do my best for God's glory, not man's.The second lifestyle characteristic of a Godly life is understanding how we are to conduct ourselves in our place of employment. As Christians, we must exemplify Christ's character on the job. Whether our workplace is an actual office, within the home, our ministry, or volunteer work within the community, the same principles apply.Trusting God's Provision - I know that God supplies all my needs according to His riches, not mine. The third lifestyle characteristic of a Godly life is to exemplify God's attitude about money; both in the acquisition and the proper use of it. To look at God's attitude concerning our finances we will take a detailed look at the Scriptures.Living Purposefully - I live Christ's life on purpose, not by accident. The fourth lifestyle characteristic of a Godly life is learning how to live Christ's life on purpose, instead of by accident. We need to be like the Apostle Paul. He said, "This one thing I do." He lived Christ's life on purpose. He knew what God had called him to do. He set his course to fulfill that purpose. We must live our lives with the purpose of becoming Christ-like in all we do. Volume One covers the "Spiritual Characteristics of a Godly Life."Volume Two covers the "Personal Characteristics of a Godly Life."
