His artistic style is positioned by David Aurandt, a long-time friend and noted art scholar. The book itself has been designed by the accomplished designer, Rose Ellen Campbell, to showcase Carmichael's work to the utmost.
This is the first time that images of his works have been made available. Prior to this book, one could only admire his works at art galleries, art exhibitions and private collections.
