Moses Smells the Roses is the first book in a series of cat stories, written and illustrated by Nancy Topolinski-Dercher. This 24-page book is a rhythmic childrens poem full of 31 colorful illustrations--perfect to be read to young children or to encourage reading at a young age. Moses is a curious cat who likes to play and that is that. Moses finds himself in a little trouble but the story has a happy ending. This story sets up the scene for the following books (about other cats) in the Fancy Cats series.
