Описание: BPMN 2.0 ist der f hrende und offene Standard f r die Gesch ftsprozessmodellierung. Unabh ngig von der Wahl des Modellierungswerkzeuges bleibt die Bedeutung der Gesch ftsprozessdiagramme immer dieselbe. Allerdings erfordert das Erstellen von korrekten, vollst ndigen und aussagekr ftigen Diagrammen mehr als ein einfaches Verzeichnis der BPMN-Elemente. Vielmehr wird eine Methode ben tigt, welche die bersetzung der Prozesslogik in ein konsistentes BPMN-Diagramm unterst tzt. Dies erfordert eine sinnvolle Anzahl von Stilregeln, die gew hrleisten, dass die Prozesslogik alleine aus dem Diagramm ablesbar ist. Kurz gesagt: "Gute BPMN" erfordert einen konsequent verfolgten Ansatz bei der Prozessmodellierung, genannt "Methode & Stil". In diesem Buch wird erkl rt, welche BPMN-Elemente wirklich ben tigt werden und wie sie in der Praxis angewendet werden. Die Ebene 1, die deskriptive Unterklasse der BPMN 2.0, beinhaltet die Elemente, die zur Mehrheit aus der klassischen Flussdiagrammtechnik bekannt sind. Ebene 2, die analytische Unterklasse, erweitert diese Palette zur Modellierung von Ereignissen und Ausnahmebehandlungen. Die grundlegenden Konzepte der BPMN werden vertieft behandelt. Dinge wie Aktivit ten, Prozesse und Endstatus sind essentiell bei der korrekten Verwendung der Sprache. Es ist ein schrittweises Top-down Vorgehen erforderlich, das vorgibt, wie von einem wei en Blatt Papier zu einem ausdruckstarken Modell hingearbeitet werden kann. Im Hauptdiagramm ist einfach und klar erkennbar, wie ein Prozess startet, welches seine m glichen Endzust nde sind, was eine Prozessinstanz im Modell repr sentiert und wie die Kommunikation abl uft. Ausgehend von einem Hauptdiagramm wird der Prozessfluss von oben nach unten entwickelt. Die popul re erste Ausgabe des gleichnamigen Buches wurde im Jahr 2009 auf der Basis des Entwurfes zur Spezifikation der BPMN 2.0 ver ffentlicht. Die vorliegende zweite Ausgabe behandelt die finale BPMN 2.0-Spezifikation, die sich seit der ersten Auflage des Buches ver ndert hat. Der Methode & Stil-Teil wurde fast vollst ndig neu geschrieben. Die zweite H lfte des Buches, das "BPMN-Handbuch f r die Prozessautomatisierung" wurde komplett neu entwickelt. Darin wird die XML-Diagramm-Repr sentation f r nicht-ausf hrbare und ausf hrbare Prozessmodelle ins Zentrum ger ckt. Dabei wird das BPMN-Metamodell und das XML-Schema detailliert erkl rt und das BPMN-I-Profil beschrieben. Letzteres beinhaltet eine Menge von Regeln, welche den Austausch von Diagrammen mit Elementen aus der analytischen Unterklasse sicherstellen soll. Anhand eines Beispiels auf der Basis der Open-Source-L sung Bonita Open Solution wird veranschaulicht, wie zur Ausf hrung ben tigte Details, wie Prozessdaten und Datenmappings, Services, Nachrichten und Benutzerinteraktionen, in der BPMN 2.0 definiert werden. Das Buch schlie t mit Richtlinien f r Entwickler ab, welche zeigen, wie das Design von Top-down-modellierten Gesch ftsprozessen in eine ausf hrbare Form gebracht werden kann. Das Buch ist mit ber 100 BPMN-Diagrammen reichhaltig illustriert und das Handbuch f r die Prozessautomatisierung enth lt unz hlige XML-Beispiele.
