Описание: A textbook for every home. All of human suffering, in its array of forms and degrees and intensity, whether past, present or in the future, is due to one thing--- Anti-Knowledge. Anti-Knowledge is the virus of the human mind contracted long ago in the Garden and, since then, disseminated and broadcast to all of humanity by every means and modality known to man. It surrounds and permeates every facet of our understanding. Seven Pillars Volume One demonstrates that all of mankind holds tenaciously to a set of beliefs called primal beliefs. These beliefs are held in common even between individuals and groups which disagree--- so that seemingly there is dissension when in fact there is agreement between opposing views. Seven Pillars demonstrates that a primal belief always has a manifestation in the world through thought and action. And since there is suffering in the world it may be that the primal beliefs held by mankind just might be unremittingly wrong. Seven Pillars shows, in seven fields of knowledge, specific situations in those fields, that affect mankind to his detriment and not his good. Each chapter investigates a specific field: history, science, politics/economics, health, theology/metaphysics, the Occult or Fortean phenomena, and last but not least, general philosophy--- which in Volume One focuses on state run education. In the history pillar it is shown that the Pilgrims stumbled upon a revolutionary sociological idea that was subsequently and, even currently repressed. In the science pillar it is shown that a specific yet incorrect belief concerning the science of geology is tied to a philosophical primal belief about human nature. These two primal beliefs are currently conspiring to strangle the lifeblood out humanity. As a result of this investigation you will begin to grasp the ultimate reason for gasoline prices being so high-- it is definitely not due to any shortage. In the politics/economics pillar it is shown how an economy grows and it has nothing to do with state intervention but instead on the growth of the individual. With focus on the former rather then the latter all that will occur is human suffering. In the health pillar it is shown how one doctor's discovery could have put the health of mankind on a whole new plane of well-being--- in the 19th century But this too was systematically repressed to our detriment. In the general philosophy pillar, state run education is discussed. We discover the true goals of education are suppression of competitive creation versus entrenched economic elites. In other words, education HAD to be invented in order to protect certain economic interests. In the Fortean pillar we discover that certain economically endowed elitists have been developing a technology that they will not share with the rest of mankind. Why? It would be the death of their monopolistic hold on mankind. Seven Pillars shows the roots of their project in the 19th century with the title of the chapter being UFO's Are Suppressed Technology.' In the Theology/Metaphysics chapter entitled A New Argument For Murder' it is shown, logically, how the theory of evolution embraces a certain primal belief known as fractionated causality. This incorrect understanding of causality leads to a sundering of morality and human action in general which in turn leads to human suffering.

Описание: Friendship is one of the most important, yet most underrated necessities of life. A sense of connection and belonging is a key part of being human, and there are boundless benefits from having close friends who know everything about you, can help you out in a pinch, can be there with you through all the joys and hardships of life, and for whom you can be such a friend in turn. But making and keeping friends becomes increasingly difficult when we become adults with busy careers, family responsibilities, dispersed locations.Keeping in touch through social media isn't as fulfilling as developing true, deep, lasting bonds of friendship, argues therapist Gina Handley Schmitt. She provides knowledge, perspective, scripts, and worksheets to help you create the friendships you crave, using the five core skills of being available, authentic, affirming, assertive, and accepting. In this book, you'll learn the art of choosing and making friends, supporting your friends and letting them support you, maintaining friendships even when your life paths diverge, repairing friendships after a conflict, the difficult decision to break up a friendship, and much more. Life is so much sweeter with good friends by your side.
Meditation and relaxation have been in existence for a very long time. Our ancestors routinely practiced both - seeking a utopia to enhance their spirituality and be at peace with themselves and their surroundings. Today, the lifestyle of busy often leaves no time, which results in internal conflict. Internal conflict, when left unresolved, can manifest into much greater problems afflicting the mind body and spirit. When I was selected to facilitate a support group for individuals living with long term schizophrenia, meditation and relaxation proved to be effective when conducted in concert with a clinical treatment plan.

Описание:
Square the Circle: Art Therapy Workbook features easy-to-use mandala coloring sheets and activities. Drawing on fifteen years of experience, Rebecca Bloom has brought together the very best of the art directives she created to help Adults, Teens and Children address Anxiety, Depression and PTSD. For many people it is difficult to formulate their problems with words, this book will show you how image making allows more of the story to come out, by letting go of focusing only on verbal processing. Much of the current Neuroscience research shows us that trauma is often experienced and stored in the body. These exercises are specifically designed to safely allow the body to tell its story. By taking time to fill in the heart image, we get to know ourselves from the inside out, instead of letting the outside world constrain what our experience is. There is no right or wrong answer, the creative process allows for tremendous complexity.
No art experience in necessary to use this book. Using the eight limbs of yoga as a guide, there are two important principals that creativity can help you explore. The first is to practice non-violence toward yourself - Ahimsa. In art therapy, the concept of process over product is often talked about. When art is made to sell, the product is the most important thing, but when art is made for personal exploration, and self-discovery, the process is what counts. The final images don't need to be pretty or even make sense, they just have to be true and hopefully allow for more discussion to arise. The second yoga concept is Dharana, to allow yourself the time and space for inner awareness. This book is full of surprisingly simple prompts that will allow the mind to quite and focus, the internal dialogue can quiet and with that focus, surprising clarity can be reveled. Using these concepts of mindfulness as a powerful centering technique, we can begin to allow old stories to be told in new ways, to connect with the knowing artist that lives within all of us.
When using these exercises in alone or in individual counseling, it's wonderful to take some distance and really look at the image before processing. When using these in groups, it's wonderful to see how each individual puts their stamp of their creation, no two will be the same. With humor and compassion, tap into your creativity and see what happens when you make marks on the page.
