It contains constitutional documents from all over the world, written from 1776 to the Middle of the 19th century. The volume Constitutional Documents of Switzerland 1791–1865 includes approx. 540 (70 national and 470 cantonal) constitutional documents, human rights declarations, and draughts of constitutions that never came into force, from this period.
