Central Oregon Walks, Hikes & Strolls for Mature Folks was born from the desire to take our parents on suitable outings in the area. It evolved into a user-friendly guide for all ages. The outings cover some of the most beautiful destinations in Central Oregon and include treks for all ability levels from beginning walker to seasoned hiker. There are even outings for those in wheelchairs. Thus, it represents a useful handbook for locals and visitors to the region. The feasibility guage with each outing is a unique feature that makes it easy to determine if the outing is appropriate for kids, seniors, or anyone else. The introduction provides useful information for preparation to participate, and the appendix adds additional helpful resources.
