Описание: These accounts, published in 1770-1 and reissued here in one volume, are of notable Iberian and Dutch voyages in the southern hemisphere. They were translated and edited by Alexander Dalrymple (1737-1808), who became the hydrographer to the Admiralty in 1795. The work includes a chronological table of discoveries since 1501.
