The Talmud teaches us that a small ray of light can extinguish any darkness. In times of crisis and uncertainty, poetry is that ray of light. When poetry comes from the depth of the human soul, it has the power to transform us from a state of hopelessness to an inner strength that enables us to embrace the future with a sense of hope.
I grew up in a family where emotions were the vehicle of expressing oneself. Words were never used to disguise feelings nor thoughts, but to reveal them. This collection of poetry shed light on my personal experiences of loss, love, hope and redemption.
