Through the Kaleidoscope Colouring Book is an adult colouring book with fifty all-abstract kaleidoscope illustrations. These symmetrical patterns resemble full-page mandalas (with borders), and are very relaxing to colour. Most of the designs are of easy to medium difficulty. This book is perfect for all ages, and will provide hours of stress-relief and enjoyment.
All of the patterns are designed by hand, and digitally mirrored for smooth lines and perfect symmetry. You won't find these original kaleidoscope art designs anywhere else!
You can preview all the designs in this book on the author's website - for the URL, see the 'More about the author' section further down the page.
If you enjoy symmetrical pattern designs, you might also enjoy the mandala and pattern books from the same artist.
Through the Kaleidoscope is the sixth book in the LJK Colouring Books series, which has a growing range of fun colouring books for all ages. They make great gift ideas for friends and family who love to colour!
This title was originally published in August 2016 as Through the Kaleidoscope Colouring Book by Tigerlynx. In this new second edition, the author name has changed.

Описание: WoJo Holdings, LLC Co-Founders Marianne Chester, Stroudsburg, PA Debra S. Jean, Stroudsburg PA and Tom Rhiel, Greenwood Village, CO have published an anthology of personal memoirs by a diverse group of women writers. Kaleidoscope(TM) WoJo's Story This project began with three business people deciding to write a book about the challenges that women face in the business world. Through many conversations the intent evolved into exploring the challenges women face in general through personal memoirs. Themes were developed and contests were administered and women writers began submitting their essays. Prize money in the form of $100.00 was offered for the best memoirs for themes such as Advice to Younger Self, Summer Vacation, Coming of Age in the 60s & 70s, Holiday Story, Did That Really Happen and the always open for submissions, Miscellaneous Memoirs. Every writer who submitted to us had the opportunity to have an interview published online, providing them with exposure. If a writer had their own website we would acknowledge it and other social media accounts they may be using. The stories In My Shoes are a culmination of the best essays from our contests and Miscellaneous Memoirs. The writers are a wide cross section of diverse women representing different age groups, geographic locations, ethnicities, backgrounds, and experience. The stories contain a wide range of emotions from the somber to the hilarious and everything in between. What they all contain is heart. What people are saying: By women, for women, strength and grit, you are not alone.

Описание: A KALEIDOSCOPE OF STORIES - Muslim Voices in Contemporary Poetry brings together the myriad voices of eighty Muslim poets from diverse backgrounds to powerfully articulate what it means to be Muslim in the modern world. It provides a platform for Muslim voices to be heard speaking about their experiences in their own words, and offers an antidote to the stereotyped, one-dimensional portrayal of Muslims we see so often in the media.
The anthology gives the reader a glimpse of the thoughts, hopes and challenges of those who see the world through two or more cultural lenses and provides an authentically Muslim space for the expression of our spiritual, social and personal lives. It brings together the verses of multi-generational voices exploring themes including love and loss, identity and belonging and Islamic spirituality. The poets appearing in this anthology are seekers, teachers, artists, parents, activists and much more. From every continent and spanning generations, their collective experiences appear in verses of love, devotion, grief and healing, as they take us on a journey through cityscapes and the natural beauty of the world we live in. Through their insights and inspirations we find ourselves in London, New York, Istanbul, Fez, Damascus and Makka, in mosques and at sacred sites, in deserts, mountains, and under towering redwoods, in heart-opening moments of connection. Their poetry navigates all the seasons of life, reflecting and meditating through their outward and inward pilgrimages upon our relationships to those around us and to the Divine. Half of the profits from this publication will go to charity to provide food and clean water to those in need.

Описание: A dazzling and heartfelt novel about two sisters caught in their parents' ambition, the accident that brings it all crashing down, and the journey that follows, as the remaining daughter of a fashion empire sets out across the globe to challenge the stories that have always defined her.
Everybody's heard of The Brightons. From rags to riches, sleepy Oregon to haute New York, they are the half-Chinese family that built Kaleidoscope, a glittering, 'global bohemian' shopping empire sourcing luxury goods from India and beyond. Statuesque, design savant, and family pet--eldest daughter Morgan Brighton is most celebrated of all. Yet despite her favored status, both within the family and in the press, nobody loves her more than Riley. Smart and nervy Riley Brighton -- whose existence is forever eclipsed by her older sister's presence. When a catastrophic event dismantles the Brightons' world, it is Riley who's left with questions about her family that challenge her memory, identity, and loyalty. She sets off across the globe with an unlikely companion to seek truths about the people she thought she knew best --herself included. Using the brightly colored, shifting mosaic patterns of a kaleidoscope as its guide, and told in arresting, addictive fragments, Kaleidoscope is at once a reckoning with one family's flawed American Dream, and an examination of the precious bond between sisters. It reveals, too, the different kinds of love left to grow when tightly held stories are finally let go. At turns devastating and funny, warm and wise, sexy and transportive, Riley's journey confronts the meaning of freedom and travel, youth and innocence, and what it looks like to belong, grieve, and love on one's own terms.
