Описание: Throughout the Revolutionary (1792-1802) and Napoleonic (1799-1815) Wars, France's most consistent enemy on land was the Austrian Empire. Austria's huge armies played a central part in the several coalitions against France, from the 1790s, to the Austerlitz campaign of 1805, the closely-balanced battles of 1809, and the final upsurge of 1813-14. Contrary to the myth of rigid aristocratic conformity, the generals who led those armies were as diverse in origin and character as their regiments - some were princes of the blood, and some ex-rankers promoted for talent and courage. This text gives concise but fact-packed accounts of the careers of more than 30 of these men, illustrated with portraits and meticulous colour plates.

Anger Management: A Comprehensive and Practical Guide on How to Master Your Emotions, Take Control of Your Anger and Develop Self-Discip

Описание: Do you want to control your impulsive behavior? Are you tired to feel guilty because of your bad reactions? Have you lost friends or destroyed relationships because of your excessive anger? Are you ready to take responsibility for your emotions and do something about your overreacting problem? Do you want to learn how to improve your self-control and master your emotions to live a better and more fulfilling life?

If you answered YES to all these questions, then this is the right book for you.

The truth is, everyone feels anger. It is a normal human emotion that motivates a person to act in response to an attack, affront, or wrongdoing. It is our bodies natural defense mechanism that gives us the tools to fight back, speak out, and stand up against injustice. Overcoming anger is easier if you are able to overcome the barriers that your other emotions may be creating for you too.

When you handle anger in a firm and respectful way, with a tone of good nature, relationships grow, maturity gains ground, and stability reigns. Being stubborn, domineering, brash, and nasty doesn't constitute assertiveness; those adjectives are measures of outward aggression. They reject positive energy at work, they are not expressions of love at home, and they will only do harm.

This guide explores how to control your angry reactions and master your emotions and contains information of great value such as:

  • UNDERSTANDING ANGER
  • SIGNS YOU MAY HAVE AN ANGER DISORDER
  • IDENTIFYING TRIGGERS
  • EXPRESSING ANGER HEALTHILY AND APPROPRIATELY
  • HOW TO COMMUNICATE WHEN YOU'RE ANGRY
  • MANAGING ANGER AT WORK
  • MOTIVATIONS FOR ANGER
  • CBT THERAPY FOR ANGER MANAGEMENT
  • FOLLOW THESE STEPS TO TAKE CONTROL OF YOUR ANGER WITHOUT DRUGS
  • CONTROL YOUR ANGER WITH ANGER COUNSELING
  • ANGER MANAGEMENT FOR KIDS
  • ANGER MANAGEMENT TECHNIQUES
  • MANAGING ANGER IN AN INTIMATE RELATIONSHIP
  • ANGER MANAGEMENT MAINTENANCE PLAN

...and much more

Letting go of your anger is acceptance that you cannot completely control every situation and you understand the limits of what you can do to change outcomes. It also means that your personal happiness and satisfaction has nothing to do with someone else's choices. It is not failure, by any means. It is a win for you.

Are you looking for a fast and easy way to improve your learning abilities? Then keep reading...

The brain and mind are some of the most talked about aspects of human life that have been interpreted differently over time by various schools of thoughts. There are religious perspectives, medical opinions, spiritual viewpoints, and so on. But what are the brain and mind really? Individually, we sometimes try to rationalize the presence of the brain and mind. We ponder on their states of existence. Do they exist independent of each other as two major consciousnesses in one body? Or are they one whole interpreted differently according to perspective?

Before we begin considering the possible relationship and differences that exist between these two entities, let's take a look at the meaning ascribed to them.

The brain is a dimensioned mass of convoluted white and grey matter with a definite location in the cranium of the head. It is the organ that controls and organizes physical and cognitive processes in humans. The brain is a tangible entity, meaning it can be seen and touched. This feature makes it capable of being observed and studied. For humans to function optimally, the brain has to be at its best always, as any trace of malfunctioning can be fatal.

The mind, on the other hand, cannot be so easily described. The reason for this is traceable to its intangibility. The mind is an intangible entity (believed to exist without being seen or touched) without a dimension or definite location in the being of a person. It is these features ascribed to the mind that have caused many different schools of thoughts to spring up with beliefs of their own, each trying to conceptualize the mind as best as they can. To better understand the mind, we will consider these different schools of thought and their opinions about the mind.

In neuroscience, the mind is believed to be a product of the brain; with the brain said to be responsible for the rendering of the mind. Neuroscience argues this from the point of view that the mind is a constituent of brain activity, if it isn't in itself a brain activity, that is. Thus, the mind is just one of the many different goings-on in the brain alongside other activities.

The belief in philosophy is somewhat different. Philosophers are of the belief that the mind is a different concept that is independent of the human body. That is, they believe the mind to exist outside the sphere of the body and soul, meaning it shares no similarity to either components of the human entity. This argument is backed up by the fact that the mind is largely without a make or size and thus cannot be seen in order to be studied.

Another school of thought considers the mind to be an assemblage of memories, thoughts, and other similar abstract elements which influence human existence. On this account, the mind is believed to fluctuate between a state of activity and inactivity. This school of thought suggests that the mind is like a computer which is capable of gathering data from multiple sources.

This book covers the following:

  • How Your Memory Works
  • The Power Of Attention, Concentration, And Visualization
  • Learn And Master
  • Why You Should Train Your Brain
  • Proven Ways To Improve Your Memory
  • Mental Health And Productivity
  • Mind Exercises
  • Comprehension
  • Speed Reading Techniques.........AND MORE
