Three governmental components - county social services agencies, clerks of superior court, and law enforcement agencies - are key players in this effort. It includes guidelines for both before and after the appointment of a guardian.

Power of Attorney Flowchart – This guide answers questions for those appointed guardians when wards have either a Durable Power of Attorney (POA) or a health care POA, and provides processes for either terminating or suspending authority.
