The volume continues the publication of The Rendel Harris Papyri (vol. I, 1936; vol. II, 1985), offering editions, with translations and interpretations, of eighty-one Greek papyri. Three are literary or subliterary, the others documentary. With a few exceptions, the texts included are from Oxyrhynchus. They range in date from the early fi rst to the late seventh/early eighth century, but the majority come from late antiquity, with about twenty of them dating from the fifth century.
The artist, dancer and educator Suzanne Harris (1940-79) was a protagonist of the downtown New York City artists’ community in the 1970s. With her boundary-transgressing practice, she played a decisive part in avant-garde projects, such as the Anarchitecture group, 112 Greene Street, FOOD, and the Natural History of the American Dancer. Harris furthermore participated in the Heresies editorial collective. Nevertheless, her own oeuvre fell into abeyance.
Friederike Schafer reconstructs Harris’s dispersed, postminimalist body of work, which broke the mold of art categories, art practices, art spaces, and the common notion of space. The author draws on post-Marxist feminist theory to trace how Harris transcended both sculpture and dance to create site-specific, ephemeral installations.

Health and development require one another: there can be no development without a critical mass of people who are sufficiently healthy to do whatever it takes for development to occur, and people cannot be healthy without societal developments that enable standards of health to be maintained or improved. However, the ways in which health and development interact are complex and contested.
This volume unites eleven case studies from nine countries in three continents and two international organizations since the late-nineteenth century. Collectively, they show how different actors have struggled to reconcile the sometimes contradictory nature of health and development policies, and the subordination of these policies to a range of political objectives.
