Despite a thriving culinary scene, Fort Worth lost some of its most iconic restaurants decades ago. Locals still buzz about the legendary chili dished out at historic Richelieu Grill and the potato soup Sammy's served all night. Fort Worth could accommodate every palate, from the Bakon Burger at Carlson's Drive-Inn to the escargot and chateaubriand laid out at the Carriage House. Even movie stars like Bob Hope and Gene Autry frequented the city for steaks from the Seibold Cafe, and President Lyndon B. Johnson loved Cowtown for the barbecue from famed chuckwagon cook Walter Jetton. Join food writer Celestina Blok as she journeys through her hometown's dining past.

Celestina is a little girl with a big dream--can she overcome peer pressure and bullying to accomplish her astral ambition? "Well," said Miss Stella, "it's time that you soar. Trade in your ballet shoes for the great rocket's roar. Dream your big dreams and never give in. It is never too late for you to begin."Celestina the Astronaut Ballerina is a beautifully illustrated story that teaches kids about the importance of holding on to their hopes and dreams in the face of bullying and peer pressure. This thought-provoking story also highlights the impact that our words and actions can have on others--good or bad--and challenges gender stereotypes in the workforce. Donald Jacobsen is a husband, father, registered nurse, and sometimes-writer living and working in Memphis, Tennessee. Donald's clinical nursing experience comes from 10 years in the field, with a background in emergency nursing and EMS, case management, nursing informatics, and a variety of other settings.
