A Case-Based Approach to Learning Ethics in Physical TherapyEthics in Physical Therapy utilizes a unique case-based approach to teach students and clinicians how to apply theoretical concepts to real-world situations. The accompanying text provides a framework to answer the "should" questions, such as "What should I do?" and "How should I act?" The format provides the opportunity to move beyond the individual realm, when appropriate, resolving issues within an institutional or societal perspective. The text is divided into two sections: "Ethics for the Physical Therapist" and "Types of Ethical Decisions: Case Analysis." They are designed to integrate with one another, but, each section can also be used separately. Learning how to read MSK MRI studies is often taught during a lengthy fellowship; however, many radiologists do not have this additional training but still must read MSK studies during their routine clinical practice. The cases in the book focus on the conditions that radiologists encounter most frequently in their daily clinical work, making it very high yield for the amount of time needed to read it. The cases are organized by the six major joints (shoulder, elbow, wrist/hand, pelvis/hip, knee, ankle/foot). Three additional chapters discussing tumors, arthropathy, and miscellaneous conditions are also included.
