The UAV Pilot Logbook Pro is a complete and comprehensive log designed for professional use. In this book you can record flight and pilot training information for all types of UAV operations, as well as considerable aircraft technical data. For those who wish to create an aircraft-specific record of use and condition we continue to recommend our companion volume, the UAV Aircraft Logbook Pro, also available through Amazon.
In the UAV Pilot Logbook Pro you can record flight time for rotary, fixed-wing and lighter-than-air (LTA) UAV operations, so that even if you fly a variety of aircraft types you will be able to log all of your data in the same book. You can record data from 1000 flights in this book, and because the format is somewhat larger than that of our other UAV logbooks you can record a greater variety of data for each flight. These characteristics make the UAV Pilot Logbook Pro the most complete record of your flying experience that you can get, using a paper logbook. The hardcover provides valuable durability.
The logbook is 286 pages long. On the inside you will find:
An Aircraft and Equipment Data section, in which you can record identification information for up to 16 different aircraft, as well as data about batteries, other power sources (e.g. liquid fuel) and additional equipment (cameras, etc).
A main Pilot Flight Log section, in which you can record the registrations of the different aircraft in use for each of your flights and their types, flight locations and times, flight durations, flight functions (e.g. Instructor time, etc), numbers of landings, night flight time, maximum aircraft height and distances flown. You can also record batteries or fuel use, inspections and calibrations accomplished, technical problems found and corrective actions performed, remarks about the flight and endorsements (e.g. Instructor signature). This section provides easy-to-use instructions about how to fill out the log, with example pages included.
A final, Record of Training section, in which you can log all of your training courses taken and exams passed, as well as places for instructors to sign these off, as required.
Although larger than our other logbooks, Pro remains convenient for carrying, either in your backpack or in any small case you may be using. You are therefore able to record your flight data on the spot. Additionally, this book avoids the wasted space found in other drone logbooks that, for example, unnecessarily ask you to draw flight plans. Finally, using a physical, bound logbook is superior to using an electronic version because you do not require an internet connection to record your data in the field and the data are not subject to loss or accidental deletion. The physical log is the official aviation standard.
Bottom line: using the UAV Pilot Logbook Pro makes it easy to create a lasting and comprehensive record of your professional flying experience and training.

It is increasingly important for drone pilots to log their flight data, both to demonstrate their experience and to record training received. Using the UAV Pilot Logbook allows you to accurately and completely log these personal flight data. To record your aircraft technical data we recommend you check Amazon for our companion volume, the UAV Aircraft Logbook.
In the UAV Pilot Logbook you can record flight time for rotary, fixed-wing and lighter-than-air (LTA) UAV operations, so that even if you fly a variety of aircraft types you will be able to log all of your data in the same book.
On the inside you will find:
- A page to record pilot information (e.g. qualifications and certificate data).
- A section that provides easy-to-use instructions about how to fill out the log, with an example page included.
- A main flight data section that permits you to record the registration of your aircraft and its type, flight location, flight times, flight duration, flight function, number of landings and any remarks you may want to make, for 1000 flights. This section has recently been improved with an enlarged "minutes" column, in response to a customer critique.
- A section to log your flight and ground training record. You can record ground training courses taken, exams passed and any flight training received so that all of your important pilot records are kept together in one book.
- A section in which instructors can sign off any training course taken by the pilot.
By using the UAV Pilot Logbook:
You save money. You can log 1000 flights in this book, which is far more than that which is permitted by any of the other logbooks available today.
Your book lasts. If you buy the hardcover version (which is admittedly more expensive than the softcover version due to production costs), your book is durable and will stand up to years of use both at home and in the field.
Your book is easy to bring with you when out doing flights. The size is convenient for carrying, either in your backpack or in any small case you may be using. You are therefore able to record your flight data on the spot, something not so easily done when using the other, large-format, paperback logbooks.
You won't waste time or space filling out unnecessary data. The book avoids the wasted space found in other drone logbooks that mistakenly ask you to draw flight plans - this is a pilot's personal flight log, after all.
Bottom line: using the UAV Pilot Logbook makes it easy to demonstrate that you are an experienced and properly trained UAV pilot who takes a professional approach to your flying operations.
Every aircraft requires its own log, and the UAV Aircraft Logbook Pro was designed to meet that need for UAV owners/operators. This Parhelion Aerospace product is the only dedicated (hardcopy)UAV aircraft technical logbook made for professional use available today.
A companion to our UAV Pilot Logbook Pro, the UAV Aircraft Logbook records flight, equipment and maintenance data for a single aircraft in order to keep abreast of its use and technical status no matter how many different pilots fly it. These factors could be of great importance in determining the safety of your flight operations, as well as your UAV's insurance, depreciation and resale values.
You can record data for 600 flights in the UAV Aircraft Logbook Pro, which is organized as a daily log. On the inside you will find:
- Part 1: Aircraft, Power Source and Equipment Data; a section for aircraft and owner identification, power sources, imagery and other equipment data, as well as a master preflight inspection checklist (to be filled out in accordance with your owner's manual directions).
- Part 2: Aircraft Daily Log; a section that includes instructions for filling out the log pages (with an example page), and the actual daily log pages that constitute the main portion of the book. Spaces for flight data (e.g. crew names, compass calibrations performed, battery voltages / cycles, locations, takeoff and landing times, flight durations, number of landings, distances and heights flown) as well as technical data (e.g. discrepancies, incidents and technical problems discovered before or during a flight and the results of any corrective actions taken) for five flights are presented on each day-page. If more than five flights are accomplished on a given day then the person filling out the book simply continues on the next daily log page, using the same flight date. Flight and tech data occupy the even-numbered pages. Notes about the flights, to include sensors used and results gained, occupy the odd-numbered pages. Since these face each other when the book is open you see the entire record of a given day's operations at a glance. There is a space provided for the owner/mechanic/pilot to sign before flight, stating that the aircraft is mechanically sound.
- Part 3: Additional Maintenance Actions Log; a section that permits you to record planned maintenance, upgrades, firmware updates and calibrations (other than compass calibrations, which ought to be done as part of the daily preflight checks).
Although larger than our previously published UAV Aircraft Logbook, at 7 x 10 inches (254 x 178 mm) the Pro version remains convenient for carrying during flight operations. The hardcover provides valuable durability.
Bottom line: using the UAV Aircraft Logbook Pro makes it easy to demonstrate that your aircraft is being maintained in a professional manner that reflects well upon your flying program.

Описание:
The UAV Pilot Logbook 2nd Edition permits you to log your personal flight data in an easy-to-use, easy-to-carry format. This new edition expands significantly upon the earlier UAV Pilot Logbook (1st edition) by providing you with the opportunity to record more types of data for each flight, resulting in a truly comprehensive record of your UAV flying experience. For those who wish to create an aircraft-specific record of use and condition we continue to recommend our companion volume, the UAV Aircraft Logbook, also available through Amazon.
In the UAV Pilot Logbook 2nd Edition you can record flight time for rotary, fixed-wing and lighter-than-air (LTA) UAV operations so that even if you fly a variety of aircraft types you will be able to log all of your data in the same book.
The book is 192 pages long. On the inside you will find:
- A section to record aircraft and equipment data, to include identification information for up to 12 different aircraft as well as places to record batteries and additional equipment (cameras, etc) data.
- A main flight data section that permits you to record the registrations of the different aircraft in use for each of your flights and their types, the flight locations and times, flight durations, flight functions, numbers of landings and distances flown. New to the second edition, you can also record batteries or fuel use, inspections and calibrations accomplished, technical problems found and corrective actions performed, and an enlarged place for Remarks and Endorsements. This section provides easy-to-use instructions about how to fill out the log, with example pages included.
- A final section in which you can log all of your training courses taken and exams passed, as well as places for instructors to sign these off, as required.
The size is convenient for carrying, either in your backpack or in any small case you may be using. You are therefore able to record your flight data on the spot, something not so easily done when using the other, large-format, paperback logbooks. Additionally, this book avoids the wasted space found in other drone logbooks that, for example, unnecessarily ask you to draw flight plans. Finally, using a physical, bound logbook is superior to using an electronic version because you do not require an internet connection to record your data in the field and the data are not subject to loss by accidental deletion. Electronic logbooks are often considerably more expensive, as well. The physical log is, in fact, the official aviation standard due to the difficulty of falsifying entries after they have been made. The hardcover version is durable and will stand up to years of use both at home and in the field
Bottom line: using the UAV Pilot Logbook 2nd Edition makes it easy to demonstrate that you are an experienced and properly trained UAV pilot who takes a professional approach to your flying operations.
