About the Author
Ken Blanton has written several books and published six total to date.
Three of the works are children's books and three are novels. This book is the second book of the three book series of Luger Remington - Private Investigator.
Ken is originally from Ohio and now lives on a farm around Bowling Green, Kentucky, where he decided to reside after traveling around the USA working on heavy construction projects. He is an artist as well and designs his book cover artwork for each publication. He attended several colleges and has been involved in creative works most of his life.

Glibb came to the fence and was about to throw his books over when he heard pounding thumps getting louder behind him. A gigantic bull, the size of a house, was charging toward him. This is a children's book about a boy 8 years old that lives on a farm close to a small mid-west town. He rides his new bicycle to school and has an incident with a skunk he hit with his bicycle. He empties his school due to the overwhelming skunk smell he brought into the school after meeting the skunk on his way to school.
He helps his friend overcome an older brother's peer pressure to play hooking and rides him to school on his bicycle. He falls asleep in the city library and dreams about the book he was reviewing for a report in his class and is awakened by the librarian with a glass of cold water. He has fun and interesting adventures, and this is the third such book of them.
His dad takes Glibb fishing most Saturday mornings, early at the pond on his dad's farm. His new friends from the big city went fishing with them last Saturday but cannot go fishing this Saturday as they are being punished for playing hooky from school the past week. Glibb is a good boy that sometimes does not make the correct decision. The Adventures of Glibb Redundant has a moral overtone in each of the adventures he has.
The book is the second of the three-book series about the adventures of a boy named Glibb Redundant. This adventure is where he meets two boys his age that are brothers. Their family recently moved into a new subdivision that Glibb did not know was being built not far from his family farm. The new friends go fishing with Glibb and his dad in the pond located on the farm. The brothers get Glibb to try to smoke a cigarette as they are, and it does not turn out very well. Glibb is a positive influence for his new friends.
Glibb is a young boy from the Midwest that tries to do good. He causes a disturbance in the library, gets school canceled for a day while the skunk smell is being removed from the building, and helps a friend decide to attend school rather than play hooky.
