Описание: Each image is partitioned into 4?6 grids of equal-sized sub-blocks. The size of the sub-block is maintained as 64x64 pixels. Further the size of the sub-block is fixed for all the images. Then the color and texture features of each sub-block are computed. A color feature descriptor Local AutoCorrelogram (LAC) which is invariant to translation and occlusion is proposed to represent the color of the sub-block. Similarly, the texture of the sub-block is extracted based on Edge Oriented Gray Tone Spatial Dependency Matrix (EOGTSDM) of an image. An image matching scheme based on Integrated Minimum Cost Sub-block Matching (IMCSM) principle is used to compare the query and the target image, which in turn reduces the cost of finding the integrated matching distance. The adjacency matrix of a bipartite graph is formed using the sub-blocks of query and target image, which is used for matching the images. To further improve the quality of retrieval, a Relevance Feedback approach based on a feature re-weighting scheme is used to improve the retrieval accuracy. The experimental results show that this method has improved retrieval precision and recall.

Die mit der Verformung verbundenen nderungen der Kristallorientierungen lassen sich heute auch bei Vielkristallen weitgehend deuten, bieten aber ge- gen ber der Verformung der Einkristalle eine Reihe zus tz- licher Probleme. Noch mehr gilt dies f r die Vorg nge der Erholung und Rekristallisation als Grundlage der Rekristal- lisationstexturen. Heterogene Bestandteile beeinflussen die Anisotropie der Eigenschaften, da sie Texturbildung hervor- rufen oder vermindern k nnen, doch sind gerade hier noch viele Fragen offen. Auch in der Praxis der Metallverarbeitung und der Ferti- gung von Bauteilen zeigt sich mehr und mehr, da eine wirk- lich werkstoffgerechte Herstellung von Halbzeug sowie die Weiterverarbeitung, insbesondere durch Umformung, ohne Kenntnis der Texturen und ihrer Wirkungen nicht mehr aus- kommen kann. Die bewu te Erzeugung bestimmter Texturen ge- winnt bei althergebrachten Materialien (Stahlbleche) und neuen Metallen (Titan, Zirkon) zunehmend an Interesse. Es schien daher w nschenswert, das Thema Texturen in einem besonderen Symposium zu behandeln, das vom Institut f r Metallkunde und Metallphysik der Technischen Universit t Clausthal vom 2.-5. Oktober 1968 in Clausthal-Zellerfeld veranstaltet wurde. Die Vortr ge umfassen ein weites Gebiet der Wissenschaft und Technik, in dem Texturen eine Rolle spielen. Lediglich die magnetischen Eigenschaften wurden nicht ber cksichtigt, um das Programm nicht zu umfangreich werden zu lassen.
